Share your Internet connection with someone! Connect Hotspot converts your computer to a Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing other computers, smartphones and tablets to share your connection.

Connect Hotspot detects your computer’s network card and configures most of it automatically, giving you a network name and password. By clicking on the “Start a hotspot” button, your access point will be activated allowing all nearby devices and passwords to be connected. The Client tab shows you which devices are currently connected to your coverage area.

It works as expected without any additional entries, although you can configure options such as passwords and (in the paid version) the network name. After installation, you can control the connection and peer monitoring with previously connected devices.

Can you reach help? To use a hotspot, your computer must have Wi-Fi enabled, with all devices connected. So if you have a wireless router, this seems mandatory. You can have a wireless connection at home or you can set up a more manageable network, but for most people, Connect Hotspot is the one you know best.

However, part of Connect Hotspot that can have a sense of stability for everyday use is that you can share files and folders with others on your network via a simple converter and drop-down list system.

Hotspot Connect is easy to use and does what it claims. I have no use for it, but if it does, that’s fine.
